Watch Madness 2018 has officially kicked off. This year we took thirty-two watches, put them in head-to-head matchups, and for three weeks they will face off until there is an ultimate winner. What happens to the winning watch? Well, it will grace the wrist of someone who plays the matchups on Facebook.

If you need a little inspiration, check out the brackets and winning timepieces of some of our watch-loving friends.

Watch and Listen Podcast

The Smoking Tire’s Matt Farah and watchmaker Cameron Weiss of Weiss Watch Company went over their brackets on this week’s episode. You can listen to it on iTunes or you can catch it on their Watch & Listen YouTube Channel. If you love watches, and haven’t checked it out yet, you are definitely missing out.

For Matt, his ultimate winner was the OMEGA Speedmaster Racing watch. It’s nostalgic feel traces back to the early days of the Speedmaster, before it ever went to the moon. This watch is a fan favorite and definitely a strong contender to win it all.

Cameron is a man stood firmly behind his product, and his final pick was the Weiss Watch Company American Field Dial. This one may be a bit of a Cinderella story, but we like its chances. The Weiss is American-made, expertly crafted, and is a modern beauty.

believe in doing life to the fullest. They are into cars, travel, design, gear, and adventure. Needless to say, they are also seriously into watches. You can check out all their picks for the initial round of thirty-two as well as their reasoning. Some of their choices may surprise you. Who do they think will take it all? The

. Tudor is no longer just Rolex’s little brother. The Black Bay may be a sleeper pick, but it has serious legs.

Red Clay Soul

Jay at Red Clay Soul is the quintessential southern sportsman, and his blog is filled with products and places suitable for any gentleman below the Mason-Dixon. He celebrates the outdoors, good craftsmanship, and all things Americana. Recently he commemorated the birth of his son with a Tudor Black Bay. So, we figured that would certainly be his ultimate pick in this year’s bracket. However, he surprised us. His final pick? The IWC Portofino (in overtime).

This year’s list of watches is varied to say the least. There is a little something for everyone on this bracket and we can’t wait to see which watch will be the last one standing when it’s all over.  What’s your pick?
