As an architect, interior designer and curator on top of being a writer, Cécile intertwines the world of publishing, design and luxury in both the projects and subjects she pursues. A graduate from Central Saint Martins in architecture, she has worked with Bureau Betak and publisher Assouline on a variety of project typologies, from set production and design to visual merchandising or product and graphic design. After a career informed by the world of design, architecture, art, books and magazines, browsing London’s auction houses ceaselessly and travelling a sort of modern “Grand Tour”, she currently focuses on narrative and editorial projects as well as library design and curations for either private or hospitality projects. Based between Paris and Germany, where she notably developed a close affinity with the automotive world, her work often takes her to the Swiss, Italian or Austrian Alps to work with Grand Hotels or private homes. Passionated by collectors pursuits in general, she is focusing on researching and learning about the histories and design narratives of “the beautiful things”, whether these can be found in wine, automobiles, watches, fashion or literature.
