TAG Heuer launched the new Carrera Chronograph Sport ahead of the inaugural Formula 1 TAG Heuer Gran Premio de España 2026. The new edition brings TAG Heuer’s racing heritage together with practical wearability, with a smaller case size, thinner profile, and an easy link-adjustment system. There are five variations, all with a tricompax chronograph dial layout, all in 42mm steel cases and powered by TAG Heuer’s TH20-00 movement, which offers an 80-hour power reserve, long enough to last through a Grand Prix race weekend. Dial colors are available in black, blue, green, and silver, and are priced at $6,650 for the blue dial version on a strap and $6,850 for all four dial colors on a bracelet.

A. Lange & Söhne released two new limited-edition pieces at the Concours of Elegance, the Hampton Court Palace event it presents, which ran September 4 to 6: the Ref. 424.025F Triple Split in platinum and the 1815 Up/Down in a 37.5mm case in either pink or white gold.

The Triple Split is a split-seconds flyback chronograph that allows the measure of intermediate, comparative and total times of events for up to twelve hours. The new platinum version measures 43.2mm and features a silvery light gray dial with darker gray subdials and all of the characteristic features of the Triple Split, such as a tachymeter scale and Lange's signature up/down power-reserve indicator. It's powered by Lange's manufacture calibre L132.1 and is limited to 100 pieces.

The 1815 Up/Down features that same signature power-reserve indicator again, with the AUF (up) position indicating a fully-wound mainspring and the AB (down) position indicating that the movement is unwound. They're powered by the in-house manually-wound calibre L051.2, which has a 72-hour power reserve. These two new versions are in a compact 37.5mm case, displaying hours, minutes, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the four o'clock position. They are available in either white or pink gold, both with a deep blue dial, and are limited to 300 pieces each, priced at €45,000, or about $52,200.

Jaeger-LeCoultre released three limited edition timepieces on September 9, demonstrating the skills of their Manufacture's Métiers Rares™ atelier and showing off their mastery of complications.

The 101 Secrets brings its iconic 101 movement, the world’s smallest rectangular manual-winding mechanical movement, into a new high jewelry piece made from 18k pink gold and set with 124 pink sapphires in graduated colors and sizes, accompanied by grain-set diamonds. It’s available in a limited edition of three pieces.

The Duometre Grande Complication A Grande Sonnerie showcases the brand’s Calibre 182, which incorporates a Grande Sonnerie with Westminster-style chimes, a Petite Sonnerie, a Minute Repeater, retrograde perpetual calendar, flying tourbillon and two power reserve indicators. Due to its four gongs and four hammers, it can play four different notes in various combinations, like the Westminster chime. It features an openworked dial, allowing visibility into the mechanism, and only one will be made.

The Master Hybris Artistica Calibre 945 is another showcase of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s complicated watchmaking, this time with celestial complications. It has a minute repeater, a star chart that indicates the constellations in the Northern Hemisphere moving in real time, and a flying tourbillon that’s unique to the brand, dubbed the flying Cosmotourbillon, which displays sidereal time. The multi-level domed dial feels like looking directly into the cosmos and is hand-decorated in grisaille enamel. It is available in a limited edition of five pieces.

Louis Vuitton introduced five new versions of the Tambour Spin Time, the brand's creative take on a jump hour complication, into its permanent collection. All five references are in precious metal cases, in two different sizes, 39.5mm and 42.5mm, ranging from relatively straightforward to added complications to a little showcase of stone dial mastery and gem-setting ability. The Spin Time Green is in a white gold 39.5mm case with, as suggested by the name, a green dial. The numerals are all displayed on little jumping hour cubes in green and silver, with the current hour displayed in silver and flipping to green as the hour advances. The other four versions, in order of price point, are the Spin Time Air Blue in white gold with a blue dial and a suspended movement that looks like it's floating; the Spin Time Air Antipode, a world timer with a display of city pairs that are 12 hours apart (also known as antipodal); the Spin Time Australia's Opal with Australian opal dial and a gemset bezel and diamond hour markers; and the Spin Time Air Flying Tourbillon, with a salmon dial and a central flying tourbillon set in a cage that is shaped like the brand's iconic Monogram Flower. All are powered by movements from Louis Vuitton's in-house movement manufacture, La Fabrique du Temps. Pricing ranges from $85,500 for the Spin Time Green to $199,000 for the Spin Time Air Flying Tourbillon.

Jaeger-LeCoultre announced British actor Robert Pattinson as its latest Global Ambassador. The actor, who has appeared in dozens of films over his 22-year career, appeared this year in roles in The Drama and The Odyssey. His latest, Primetime, had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 5. The brand launched an inaugural campaign with Pattinson featuring the Master Control Chronometre line, a favorite of the actor.

Czapek & Cie opened its new flagship boutique at Quai des Bergues 27 in Geneva in July and held the inaugural event at the start of Geneva Watch Days, with two new watches to commemorate the occasion, both released during the fair, which ran through September 6: The Quai des Bergues "Midnight in Geneva" in a new 40.5mm stainless steel case and an aventurine dial, limited to 18 pieces, and the Place Vendôme Complicité Glacier Blue, a limited edition of 10 pieces in platinum that marks a continuation of the friendship between Czapek CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel and master watchmaker Bernhard Lederer. Both watches are available at the new flagship and at select retailers worldwide.

The Swiss Institute announced the third edition of TimeForArt, a watch auction benefiting and supporting contemporary art and artists, which will take place as part of The New York Watch Auction: XV at Phillips on December 5th, 2026, in New York City. The auction will include 25 participating independent watchmakers and luxury brands, with one-of-a-kind timepieces curated especially for the TimeForArt benefit event. There are some notable collaborations in the list of participating brands, including Jaquet Droz x Académie de Meuron, Perrelet x The Dial Artist, and Universal Genève x Tamara de Lempicka Estate.
