Rolex introduced the Perpetual Padellone, an instantaneous complete annual calendar with a slew of technical innovations. Housed in a 39mm case, it comes in two metal options, 18K Everose gold and 950 platinum, both available on straps. The Everose version is also available on a matching Everose Settimo bracelet.

Both versions have grained-finish dials; the Everose version is intense white, while the platinum version's dial is an icy blue. Both have the day and month apertures at the twelve o'clock position, a large blue enameled moonphase disc at six o'clock with the full and new moon indicators crafted in meteorite, and a blued center hand, whose crescent moon tip points to the current date around the edge of the dial. It's powered by Rolex's Superlative Chronometer-certified in-house calibre 7190, which beats at 5Hz and uses the Dynapulse sequential distribution escapement that was introduced in the Land-Dweller in calibre 7135. The escapement is made of silicon, and along with the Syloxi hairspring, ceramic balance staff, and an optimized brass balance wheel, provides significant resistance to magnetic fields.

The annual calendar function uses a patented Haplos system, which accounts for both 30- and 31-day months by using two components added to the instantaneous date mechanism. The sapphire case back allows a full view of the movement, which is decorated with Rolex Côtes de Genève finishing. They are priced at $59,000 in Everose gold on a strap, $66,200 in platinum on a strap, and $72,800 for the Everose Settimo bracelet version.

Audemars Piguet celebrated its longtime partnership with Serena Williams with a new limited edition, the 38mm Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph "Serena Williams" Limited Edition. Housed in a white ceramic case, it features a mother-of-pearl dial, tinted pink, showcasing the traditional chronograph layout and a color-matched date wheel. It's powered by the brand's in-house chronograph Calibre 6401, which has a 55-hour power reserve. It has an integrated white ceramic bracelet and comes with an additional pink rubber strap. It is limited to 500 pieces and is priced at $95,900.

MB&F introduced the SP One Pavée, a new version of the brand's Special Projects collection. Building upon the SP One that was introduced in 2025, it's built around the dark blue inclined time dial, barrel, and balance wheel that appear to float in the center of the watch. It's in a 38mm 18K white gold case and set with 255 diamonds around the case, flange, crown, and buckle. The in-house, hand-wound movement features a 72-hour power reserve, and a full view of the suspended balance wheel at the two o'clock position and the inclined time display at six o'clock through the front and back of the sapphire crystal. It is priced at $104,000 + tax.

IWC introduced two new limited editions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ingenieur SL model, designed by Gérald Genta. The Ingenieur Automatic 40 50th Anniversary (Ref. IW328910) and the Ingenieur Automatic 35 50th Anniversary (Ref. IW324909), limited to 1,150 pieces each, feature key design elements of the Ingenieur, with functional screws in the bezel, structured grid dial, and integrated bracelet. The two new models have brushed silver-plated dials, rhodium-plated hands, and metal hour markers, and both feature stainless steel cases and bracelets, all of which lend an overall tone-on-tone effect. The 40mm version, priced at $15,000, is powered by IWC’s caliber 32111, while the 35mm version, priced at $12,900 is powered by IWC’s caliber 47110, viewable through its sapphire case back.

Blancpain released Lady B to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its Ladybird collection. Originally produced in 1956, the Ladybird Bullet featured the smallest round mechanical movement produced in series, and the new version continues that tradition of modern mechanical miniaturization. The pebble-shaped case is only 19mm in diameter and yet contains the fully automatic in-house caliber 615. The watch also pays tribute to Betty Fiechter, former director and co-owner of Blancpain, who was the first woman to lead a Swiss watch Manufacture and who believed that women's watches deserved the same mechanical ingenuity and integrity as any other timepiece. The Lady B is available in either steel or 18K red gold, both with an opaline dial, and comes on a double-tour strap available in a choice of six colors. It's priced at $12,600 in steel and $19,200 in red gold.

Hublot launched its latest collaborations with artist and brand ambassador Jeff Koons, the Classic Fusion Balloon Dog Collection and the MP-14 Origin, at a launch event in New York City on Wednesday, September 16. The event featured a talk with Hublot CEO Julien Tornare and artist Jeff Koons, moderated by Mojdeh Cutter of the Swiss Institute. Guests were able to see the new pieces while mingling among special guests such as Pamela Anderson, Olivia Jade, Future, and Saweetie, among others.

Longines celebrated its New Master Collection at a New York Fashion Week event with its Ambassador of Elegance Henry Cavill on September 12. The event featured a talk with Cavill, moderated by Madison Vain, displays of the latest Longines timepieces, and a watchmaking demonstration. Among the many fashionable guests enjoying the watches, cocktails, and caviar were Jason Biggs, Coco Rocha, and Tamu McPherson.

The Fondation Haute Horlogerie (FHH) announced a partnership with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in the interest of creating more access to watchmaking education for both industry professionals and watch enthusiasts. The GIA’s School of Gemology and Jewelry Arts will offer FHH Academy educational programs to its students, both in-person and online. The first program to be offered will be the FHH’s Watch Advisor certification, starting in early 2027.

Siam Paragon Bangkok Watch Week returns to Bangkok, Thailand September 22–27, 2026, with 45 brands, an increase of more than 50 percent over the number of exhibitors that participated in the inaugural show. Returning brands include A. Lange & Söhne, Grand Seiko, and TAG Heuer, while new exhibitors include Blancpain, MB&F, and Parmigiani Fleurier. The event will include panel discussions, keynotes, and interactive workshops, in collaboration with the FHH.

The Toronto Timepiece Show returns for its third edition in Toronto September 26-27, 2026. The show, taking place at the Meridian Arts Centre in the North York neighborhood, features 80 brands, including Oris, Nomos, Grönefeld, JN Shapiro, and M.A.D.Editions. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with brand founders and get hands-on with the latest releases from exhibiting brands.

Watches and Wonders announced that 13 new brands will join its exhibitors for its 2027 edition, including Breitling, Gallet, and Universal Genève under the House of Brands umbrella. 75 brands in total will exhibit at the fair, which will take place from April 5 to April 11, 2027, at the Palexpo exhibition center.
