Blancpain introduced the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe 70th Anniversary Limited Edition, honoring 70 years since the introduction of the "civilian counterpart” of its military diver. It takes its looks from a 1968 model, from the 37.4mm case to the dial, with a mid-century Blancpain logo and period-specific baton indices that come complete with aged lume. The less traditional treat is its exhibition caseback, which shows off the caliber 1150’s finishing and gold rotor. It’s in a limited edition of 300 pieces, priced at $18,300.

Czapek unveiled the Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue, a continuation of its previous Promenade Transparencies concept, featuring a dial made of smoked sapphire that exposes the skeletonized Calibre SXH7, which is also visible through the sapphire caseback. The blue fumé gradient of the crystal is achieved through metallization on the underside of the crystal. The applied indices are in a light blue Super-LumiNova, keeping with the overall blue theme. In a 38mm stainless steel case and available on either a blue leather strap or a steel Milanese mesh bracelet, it’s limited to 38 pieces and is priced at $40,300.

Glashütte Original introduced two new flyback chronographs to its lineup, the Senator Chronograph and Senator Chronograph Navigator. The Navigator is the sportier of the two, with a matte black dial, luminous hands and applied Arabic numerals, subdials for elapsed minutes and running seconds, and GO’s signature Panorama Date above the six o’clock position. The Senator Chronograph has a silvery-white dial with Roman numerals made of blue-coated gold, and subdials and big date in the same positions as they are on its counterpart. Both watches are in 41mm steel cases, fully polished on the Chronograph and mostly brushed with some polished accents on the Navigator. They’re both powered by the brand’s in-house automatic Caliber 37-24, with a silicon balance spring and a 70-hour power reserve. They’re both priced at $16,100 on an alligator or synthetic strap and $17,100 on a steel bracelet.

New brand Legare, from Revolution and The Rake founder Wei Koh and watch industry veteran Guillaume Tétu, released its first watch, the Chapter 1 AGP Inverted. The manually-wound movement, with two balance wheels averaged by a planetary differential, was heavily inspired by a pocket watch created by Albert-Gustave Piguet, then a watchmaking student. The movement is inverted and displayed entirely on the front of the watch for the viewing pleasure of the devoted watch enthusiast. The dial is sapphire with printed minute and second tracks and applied indices, with the option of two different finishes: the ‘Darth’ in matte black rhodium or the ‘Elegant’ in German silver with Geneva stripes, limited to 25 pieces each. It’s all housed in a 37.5mm Grade 5 titanium case and is priced at USD $102,283.
