Tim Stevens

Tim Stevens is a freelance automotive and technology journalist with more than 25 years of experience. He is a frequent contributor to major domestic and international online, print, and broadcast news outlets including MotorTrend, Road & Track, The Verge, TechCrunch, CBS and the AP, sharing his insights and perspectives on everything from cybersecurity to supercars. Stevens also serves as a juror for the World Car Awards and regularly acts as speaker and moderator at major industry events like CES, Web Summit, SXSW, NAIAS, and AutoMobility LA. He formerly served as Editor-at-Large and VP of Content at CNET. Before that he was Editor-in-Chief of Engadget and Editorial Director at AOL Tech. Stevens is a frequent traveler, covering hundreds of thousands of miles a year visiting dozens of countries. He's also an avid cyclist and former racer, and someone who's most happy hiking on the trails. If he's not on a plane or out wandering in the woods, he's probably out putting in miles on his road bike. He lives in upstate New York with his wife and pup.
