Priya Raj

Priya Raj is a London-based fashion and luxury editor, writer and broadcaster with a deep specialism in fine jewellery and watches. With a career spanning digital and print editorial, commercial content and broadcast media, she has spent years immersed in the world of luxury accessories. Published in Vogue Business, Condé Nast Traveller, Tatler Asia, Jing Daily, Rapaport and Watch Pro, Priya brings both editorial rigour and genuine passion to her coverage of the watch and jewellery space. She has reported from the front lines of the industry – attending major jewellery and fashion trade shows globally, sitting with designers, and developing a considered, informed perspective on what makes a timepiece or jewel truly extraordinary. Priya is a board member of the Women's Jewelry Association and was awarded their inaugural Hedda Schupak-Baum Memorial Media and Communications Scholarship in 2024 — a recognition of her contribution to and potential within the jewellery media landscape. It's a community she remains closely connected to, and one that keeps her at the pulse of the global fine jewellery and watch industry. Beyond the page, Priya is a familiar face on BBC live television, where she appears regularly as a fashion and culture commentator. Most recently she covered the 2026 Met Gala red carpet live on BBC News' The Context — bringing the same sharp eye for detail and cultural context to broadcast that defines her written work.
