Manufactured in 1970 (2.4 Million Serial Number). Watch is in very good vintage condition with some light scratches on the case. Leather strap with stainless steel tang buckle is a brand-new aftermarket replacement. Features the original silver satin “Fat Boy” pie pan dial with wide applied silver indexes and matching silver baton hands. Powered by Rolex's caliber 1570 self-winding mechanical movement with sweep seconds and date display at 3 o'clock. NOTE: the “Fat Boy” dial designation refers to the popular wider applied dial markers and wider hands found on some models of this era Datejust model.
