Preowned Watch Details
This older reference uses Tritium on the dial rather than Super-LumiNova, creating a highly-desirable patina on the hour markers. Early versions of the Calibre 863 that were used by Omega from 1989 until 1995 feature 17 jewels and a copper finish. This variation of the 3592.50.00 features "Apollo XI" engraved on the case back. Later versions of this reference (1995-1997) do not feature this text. The Calibre 863 that was used by Omega in these later models have a gilt finish and feature 18 jewels. In 1997, along with a few other changes that came with the release of the Speedmaster Professional 3572.50 and 3570.50, the movement was updated to the Calibre 1863 which has a rhodinized finish. This timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition. All photos are of the actual watch being sold. Serial Number: 48270xxx.
