Manufactured in 1948 (Serial Number: 608,xxx). Watch is in very good vintage condition with some expected wear on the case. Dial shows light patina. Leather strap with stainless steel tang buckle is a brand-new aftermarket replacement. Crown is also a period-correct aftermarket replacement. Powered by Rolex's early caliber 630 self-winding "bubble back" type movement with sweep seconds.

It is Crown & Caliber Certified Authentic, has undergone any necessary service, and comes backed by our 1-year warranty. Prior to shipment, the watch will undergo a final quality control to ensure it is functioning as intended. Scarce and desirable model Rolex stainless steel "Bombe ref 5018 serial # 608,xxx circa 1948. Featuring 35mm diameter Oyster case with extended bowed lugs, smooth bezel, acrylic crystal, and very pleasing refinished antique white dial with raised triangular indexes with aged luminous dots and elongated tapered silver dauphine hands. Powered by early calibre 630 self winding "bubble back" type movement with sweep seconds. With correct early bubble back era crown. Recently restored by our most meticulous veteran Rolex repairman, and offered with our usual 1 year warrantee of accurate timekeeping and operation. Offered on your choice of fine or distressed leather or exotic skin strap.
