After Breitling had conquered the skies, it decided to do the same with the seas. The Superocean launched in 1957, which allowed Breitling to do just that. With over-sized hands and a triangular hour hand, this watch seems to be inspired from the 1950s. Unlike many other Breitling models, the Superocean does not come in a variety of different dial colors. Instead, the dial remains matte black, and the chapter ring and tip of the seconds hand are offered in a variety of colors. The Superocean models available today are even more durable than the original with its diameter increasing from 42mm to 44mm and water resistance increasing from 1500m to 2000m. Breitling definitely conquered the seas with this watch as the Superocean has become many divers first choice in watches.
