There are a some light scuffs on the case as well as the lugs - These cannot be polished out due to the black coloring on case. Leather strap is a brand-new aftermarket replacement, but buckle is original to watch. Case back shows sign of corrosion. This is a numbered edition of only 500 units. This POLE2POLE limited edition model commemorates Johan Ernst Nilson's 2011-2012 journey from the North Pole to the South Pole which took a staggering 525 days to complete. The Zenith El Primero Stratos Flyback was the watch used by Mr. Nilson for the duration of the expedition. Case is made of black ALCHRON, a high-tech alloy used in the aeronautical industry that is highly resistant to corrosion. Date display at the 6 o'clock position. POLE2POLE Logo in the 6 o'clock sub-dial. Powered by Zenith's El Primero Caliber 405 B self-winding mechanical movement which beats at 36,600 vph, contains 31 jewels, and an approximate power reserve of 50 hours.
