Manufactured in 1952 (Serial Number: 729,xxx). Case shows light scratching consistent with a vintage timepiece. Leather strap with gold plated tang buckle is a brand-new aftermarket replacement. Powered by Rolex's calibre 645 self-winding mechanical movement with sweep seconds. Case measures 34mm x 40mm. Original antique white dial shows rich patina, making it a beige color.

Featuring 34 x 40mm bombe style case with bowed lugs, smooth bezel, acrylic crystal, and very pleasing original patina'd antique white dial with gold applied tapered indexes and intact radium lumes, gold applied small Rolex crown, and with tapered hands with intact radium. Signed on dial SWISS for radium lumes. Powered by Rolex calibre 645 self winding movement with sweep seconds. With period Super Oyster Crown. Offered on your choice of fine exotic skin or distressed leather strap. Fully serviced, guaranteed genuine, and offered with our 1 year warrantee of accurate time keeping and operation. The bombe style case is arguably the best looking Oyster case design from Rolex. This is an exceptionally nice looking early example. Note an area of lighter zoning on the dial between 8 and 11 o'clock markers.
