Preowned Watch Details
The Moonwatch "First Omega in Space" was inspired by the watch worn by astronaut Wally Shirra in 1962 as he orbited the earth during the "Sigma 7" mission. This timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition with only some minor wear to the leather strap. Numbered case back is embossed with the Speedmaster logo and the words "THE FIRST OMEGA IN SPACE, OCTOBER 3, 1962". Powered by Omega’s infamous Calibre 1861 hand-winding mechanical movement with a 48-hour power reserve. Serial Number: 87209xxx.
