Debuted at BaselWord in 2017, the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch “Apollo XVII” is a limited edition of only 1,972 pieces created in celebration of the 45th anniversary of the final moon landing in 1972. “05:34 GMT” is printed in red on the dial commemorating the exact time that Eugene Cernan made his final step on the moon, and the 9 o’clock sub-dial features the representation of the God Apollo and the moon etched in a chrome-colored PVD. The case back is engraved with '45th ANNIVERSARY - LIMITED EDITION xxxx/1972' and features an embossed Apollo XVII mission patch a well as 'APOLLO XVII - A TRIBUTE TO GENE CERNAN'. This timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition. All photos are of the actual watch being sold. Powered by Omega's Calibre 1861 hand-winding mechanical movement with an approximate power reserve of 48 hours. Comes with Omega box, papers dated 02/13/2018, and manuals.
