This special edition timepiece was made to commemorate Scott Carpenter and the Mercury 7 Aurora mission. The special feature of this model lies in the fact that all 24 hours in a day can be read off around a single circular sweep of the dial, enabling one to differentiate between day and night even while in space. Overall, this watch is in excellent pre-owned condition. All photos are of the actual watch being sold. Powered by Breitling's Calibre B02 hand-winding mechanical movement which contains 47 jewels and has an approximate 70-hour power reserve. Date display is located at the 4:30 position.
