Preowned Watch Details
The Omega Speedmaster 311.30.42.30.99.001 was released in 2010 as a limited edition of 1,975 pieces celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz joint space mission. On July 15th 1975, both the United Sates and Soviet Union launched rockets into space, with both ships docking with each other on July 17th. This was the first time that two spacecraft built by different nations had docked, and both the U.S. Apollo crew and the Soviet Soyuz crew were equipped with Speedmaster X-33 watches. This reference features a meteorite dial. The case back bears the image of the two ships docking and is engraved wit the last names of the three U.S. astronauts and the two Soviet astronauts involved in the mission. This timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition. All photos are of the actual watch being sold. Powered by Omega's Calibre 1861 hand-winding mechanical movement which contains 18 jewels and has an approximate 48-hour power reverse. Comes with Omega box, papers dated 03/25/2011, and manuals. Please note the box is showing some light signs of wear. Serial Number: 77752xxx.
